EcoAct- Ecomuseums and Community Museums for Climate Action and SDGs

The EcoAct project aims to empower ecomuseums and community museums as key players in climate action and sustainable development. By providing them with essential tools, knowledge and mentorship, the project will help translate global sustainability goals into local actions and enhance their role in tackling climate change. It will promote sustainability education, provide practical resources, develop training and mentorship programs, and increase the visibility and impact of ecomuseums in the fight against climate change.

As part of the project, a comprehensive analysis of best practices in ecomuseums related to climate action and SDG promotion will be conducted (WP2). This will result in the development of a toolkit with practical guides and resources (WP3) and the launch of an online training platform (WP4). A mentorship and peer-learning program (WP5) will foster knowledge exchange among ecomuseums. All project results will be made available in open-access formats to ensure wide adoption and scalability.
